Born in Milan, in 2000 Elvina Finzi participated in the double degree program TIME (Top Industrial Manager for Europe), obtaining the Diploma of Ingenieur at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Techniques Avancees Paris and at Ecole Politechnique Federale de Lausanne.

She graduated with honors in Nuclear Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, obtained a PhD in Nuclear Engineering also at the Politecnico di Milano and subsequently completed her training with the Master in Space Studies at the University of Adelaide and the Executive Master in Business Administration at the Sole24Ore in Milan.

She began her professional career in 2002 as a Researcher at the mathematics department of the Ecole Polytecnique Federale de Lausanne.

From 2006 to 2014 she gained experience in Whirlpool Corporation first as Engineering – Advanced Development Leader, then as Operations Strategy Manager EMEA.

From 2014 to 2015 Elvina worked in Luxottica in the role of Operations Business Development Director, Responsible for the implementation of product, technology and key systems projects in a cross-functional perspective.

In 2016 Elvina Finzi became Group Market Strategy Senior Director at EssilorLuxottica Group where she is responsible for the management of central Business Units, construction and definition of processes for opening strategic businesses.
